KAMW

KAMW of course is our homebase. Both my wife and I live and work in Ames, IA and so naturally this is where we base our aircraft. The Ames airport is a great airport and has two FBO’s onsite. Recently, we updated the terminal to a new building which was really needed. The airport is also where we do a lot of our instructional work and of course the university has a few planes used for university business. Overall, it’s a great airport that is under Class E airspace.
