Flying in Hawaii
My wife and I took a trip to Hawaii shortly after we both got our private pilot’s license. Hawaii has a special place in our hearts as it was where we got engaged. So when we had the opportunity to travel there, we took it.
Flying Around Maui
The above video is when my wife and I went up with a CFI to fly around Maui. While we both were current and both had our PPL, since we have never flown in an ocean environment, we wanted to fly with a CFI. It was a great experience as the CFI was able to have us fly over some interesting POI and we had some fun as well. Fun fact, there is no minimum altitude while over the ocean.
